Terms & Conditions

These terms govern use of Refugio County Released Inmates. By browsing or using any feature, you agree to follow them. If you do not accept these conditions, do not use the site.

This privately owned site has no connection to Refugio County, a sheriff, jail, court, TDCJ, or any other government body. Neither the site nor its advertising partners offers a service covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The material cannot be used for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another FCRA-regulated purpose. The site helps visitors locate Texas custody and release-record resources. It is neither a private investigation firm nor a consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Site

It stores no official records and cannot confirm custody, release a person, file a request, change a court record, or give instructions to an agency. It points visitors toward Refugio County, TDCJ, supervision, federal, and immigration sources and may connect visitors with outside research tools.

Outside Website Links

Links may lead to sheriff and corrections pages, release records, government portals, legal-aid resources, or third-party search services. Those operators control their own content, availability, and data practices. A link is not an endorsement. Review the outside site's terms and privacy notice before using it.

No Promises or Warranties

The site and its content are provided “as is.” No promise is made that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, free of errors or harmful code, or that a partner search will be thorough. Custody and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement from a sheriff or government agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent Texas law permits, the site and its owners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of an outside service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its owners harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.

Ownership of Site Materials

Site text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Refugio County Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not copy, distribute, republish, or modify those materials without prior written permission, except where law expressly allows it.

Changes to These Terms

These conditions may be revised at any time. A revision becomes effective when posted. Continued use after posting means you accept the updated terms.

Suspension of Access

Access may be restricted, suspended, or ended at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

Texas Law Controls

Texas law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Texas.

Terms Remain Severable

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected term will be narrowed only as much as needed to make it lawful and enforceable.
